The new Enhance Select M3 arrives with updated autofocus and adaptive listening, though it retains the same price point as its predecessor.

Jabra has launched a new series of direct-to-consumer, over-the-counter hearing aids, as Wired first reported, replacing its previous 700, 500, 300, and 50R models with the M1, M2, and M3. According to Wired, the devices are virtually indistinguishable from previous generations, though the M3 is slightly shorter than the M1 and M2 and is the only model available in red.

Reporting from Wired notes that the M3 is the top-of-the-line model, featuring two exclusive SoundScape capabilities: a revamped autofocus tool for locking onto speech in noisy environments and an advanced adaptive listening mode for real-time noise reduction. While the autofocus was described as moderately effective, the environmental modes were noted as less useful than manual adjustments.

Other specifications remain largely unchanged. All three M-series models weigh approximately 2.12 grams. The M3 continues to offer 24 hours of battery life—which Wired found to be closer to 26 hours in testing—and utilizes the same massive charging case as previous versions. While the devices now support Auracast, Wired reported that streaming quality for movies and music remains washed out at lower volumes.

Jabra continues to bundle purchases with three years of access to on-staff audiologists for live tuning and training via video chat. The M3 is priced at $1,995, the same launch price as the Jabra 700 from last year, though Amazon has listed the device for $1,795.
