According to The Guardian, Fox entered the 18th tee tied with the USA's Cameron Young at nine under par. While Young had finished his round more than two hours prior, Fox sealed the win by driving 330 yards and holing an 11-foot putt for a birdie three.

Fox's victory came as other contenders struggled under pressure. The Guardian reports that Cameron Young missed a playoff opportunity after finding a bunker on the 18th, resulting in a bogey five. Other notable players who faltered included 54-hole leader Sam Burns, who dropped to eight under par, and world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who finished tied for fourth at seven under after missing a chance to lead on the final hole.

Fox's resilience was tested throughout the day. The Guardian notes that on the par-three 15th, Fox's tee shot hit a bunker bank, leaving him in a position where he could not hit the ball forward, though he managed to escape with a four.

Other top finishers included Tommy Fleetwood, who tied for fourth, and Kim Si-woo, Casey Jarvis, and Lucas Herbert, who shared sixth place. Bryson DeChambeau tied for 14th following a triple-bogey seven on the 11th, while Rory McIlroy finished with a one-under total.
